Nominations are now open for the 2026 VMPC Impact Awards!

Do you know a volunteer engagement professional in Canada who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, or commitment to the profession.

New this year: Nominations are open to both VMPC members and non-members.

The awards are open to leaders of volunteers across Canada (excluding current VMPC Board members and previous recipients of the award category for which they are being considered). While VMPC membership is not required, engagement with the VMPC community through membership, participation, and professional contributions will be considered as part of the overall evaluation process.

Nominations close September 15, 2026.

Help us celebrate the individuals across Canada who are advancing volunteer engagement and making a lasting impact in their communities.

By nominating a colleague, mentor/mentee, or peer, you help shine a light on the important work of volunteer engagement professionals, celebrate excellence in our field, and inspire the next generation of leaders.

 

Don't forget! There are 3 awards each in 2 distinct categories: Emerging Leader & Exemplary Leader.
