Behind every meaningful volunteer experience are professionals building connections, creating belonging, supporting organizations, and helping communities thrive.
Now it’s time to better understand - and better support - the profession behind volunteering.
Today marks the launch of what is believed to be the largest national study on volunteer engagement and volunteer leadership in Canadian history.
Because we are all in this together: supporting leaders of volunteers so they can better support volunteers and strengthen communities across Canada.
This first phase of the National Profile for the Volunteer Engagement Profession survey will help us better understand:
- Who is leading volunteer engagement in Canada
- How organizations are supporting volunteer engagement
- Where gaps, opportunities, and needs exist across the sector
- How we can strengthen the future of volunteerism together
