Join us for a presentation led by self-advocates from BC People First Society, we'll learn how nonprofit organizations and volunteer managers can better support neurodivergent volunteers, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. BC People First members will explain what neurodiversity is, share real-life experiences of volunteers, and highlight common barriers in volunteer programs. Afterwards, VMPC will host breakout group discussions for participants to reflect on their own programs and leave with actionable ideas to make volunteering welcoming and equitable for all.
