SUMMARY:2024 Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference
DESCRIPTION:This is the volunteer management conference presented by VMPC
(Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada), Better Impact, and AL!V
E (Association of Leader's In Volunteer Engagement). \n\nNow in its ten
th year, this year's topic is Creating Influence in Your Organization: T
hinking Beyond 'A Seat at the Table'.\n\nThe most frequently asked quest
ion at previous conferences has been related to how a Leader of Volunte
ers can have management level influence in their organization. This year
, we'll be answering that question with a variety of experiences shared
by some of your peers in volunteer management who have found a way. Eac
h speaker this year has extensive experience in the field and has a grea
t story to tell - they have already been hard at work collaborating and
"creating their influence", and have structured the day for each of the
sessions to build on what comes before it.\n\nThere will be some engagin
g activities throughout the day built into the program, and at the end o
f the conference, attendees will come away with actionable tips they can
use the very next day to build their own professional influence. This w
ill be a conference you don't want to miss!\n\nWe are pleased to announc
