The “Canada 150 Volunteer Awards: Voices from the Field” report is now available.

On December 6, 2017, during the Canada’s Volunteer Awards, past and present recipients of the Canada’s Volunteer Awards and stakeholders came together at a discussion forum to share their views related to the past, present and future of volunteering related to the four Canada 150 Anniversary themes:

1. Engaging and Inspiring Youth;
2. Reaffirming the Importance of Strong Environmental Stewardship;
3. Promoting a Diverse and Inclusive Canada; and
4. Supporting Efforts Towards National Reconciliation of Indigenous and Non-Indigenous   Canadians.

The dialogue was passionate as everyone contributed their thoughts and ideas. As a result, this report aims to capture a compilation of those thoughts, ideas, and experiences that recipients and stakeholders shared during a series of dialogue sessions on those themes.
