At CAVR’s AGM on June 14, 2011 the Board proposed a review of CAVR’s certification process to ensure relevancy and consistency with the profession but also to explore other certification processes such as through the Council of Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA).  As a result, both certification and recertification applications and procedures will be on hold for the 2011-12 year while the process is reviewed and restructured.  Any recertifications required this year will be postponed and candidates are permitted to recertify under the new criteria in the following year.

We will keep our members informed of the progress and provide sufficient notice for members to certify or recertify in 2012.
