Webinar - Engaging Activities for Training Events and Meetings

affiché le 3:38 PM, Février 25, 2019
Hosted by the Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada (VMPC)

Bringing volunteers together in person for orientation and training events can (and should) be both meaningful and engaging, but it takes intentional design to make them so! Come to this one-hour online session to learn some useful strategies about how to make your training sessions and meetings more engaging and inclusive and where to find easy-to-use, “plug and play” activities. We’ll talk about potential activities for opening and closing sessions and for managing energy levels in the room as well as basic processes that will work in almost any situation. Whether you’re new to training or leading meetings or have been doing it for a while you’ll leave this session with a good list of ideas for activities that you can include in your next volunteer event.
