Workshop Description

Your volunteer orientation is often the event that helps a volunteer decide whether they really do want to give their time to your organization. Why not make your orientation as engaging and fun as possible, inspiring your new volunteers while helping them learn about the organization and their role?

In this participatory session, we’ll explore key design and facilitation strategies you can use to host a great orientation session. You’ll also be invited to participate in a few fun activities with your fellow participants that you can “steal” and use in your own events.
