VMPC Regional Committees are member-led groups that strengthen the volunteer management profession at the local and regional level while staying connected to a national community of practice.
These committees create space for leaders of volunteers to connect, learn, and share region-specific insights, challenges, and innovations. They help ensure VMPC remains responsive to the diverse realities of volunteer engagement across Canada’s regions.
Regional Committees play a vital role by:
Fostering peer connection and professional belonging within regions
Identifying local trends, needs, and opportunities in volunteer engagement
Supporting the delivery of regional learning events, networking opportunities, and knowledge-sharing activities
Acting as a bridge between VMPC’s national strategy and regional perspectives
Through Regional Committees, VMPC members can engage in meaningful leadership, contribute their expertise, and help shape the future of volunteer management—both locally and nationally.
