Webinar - Busting the Volunteer Hours Myth (June 12)

posted on 4:48 PM, May 18, 2017

Imagine the volunteer hours that you report falling 10% each year for four consecutive years. Now imagine that you are about to head into your annual review. If you think this review is not going to go well, this session is for you. We’ll bust the volunteer hours myth and even show you the circumstances for when numbers like these should be congratulated.

It’s not that hours are not important: it is that the current approach is missing what volunteer accomplish in those hours, a crucially important part of the picture. In many cases it leads to the pursuit of the wrong priorities and devaluation of volunteer time. This webinar will look at how you can apply defensible and meaningful values to the accomplishments of volunteers, something more important than hours alone.

This workshop looks at how to use the Scarce Resources ROI model for accurately measuring the return on investment of your volunteer engagement, not simply as volunteers as wage replacements, but as it relates to your organization’s mission.
