Webinar – Microsoft Excel: Things you wish you knew it could do.

March 12, 2018, 10:00 - 11:15 AM

Webinar – Microsoft Excel: Things you wish you knew it could do.

Hosted by the Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada (VMPC) www.vmpc.ca

Most of us use Excel at one point or another to track volunteers, run statistics, plan projects, etc. This webinar will go over some common and less common tips and tricks to make Excel work harder and you work smarter. We will cover: COUNT and related formulas, HIGH/LOW formulas, Conditional Formatting, Flagging and/or removing duplicates, data validation, and importing Excel data into Word and other documents.

Presented by: Neil Tracey, Interpretation Specialist – Volunteers and Internal Events at the Vancouver Aquarium

Neil Tracey is the Interpretation Specialist for Volunteers and Internal Events at the Vancouver Aquarium, an Ocean Wise initiative, and was previously the Coordinator of Volunteers for Marine Mammal Rescue. He has an unhealthy obsession with Microsoft Excel and other useful programs and sometimes uses Excel for fun. On the weekend, he has a particular interest in helping volunteers to be self-sufficient and in building protocols to support volunteer activities, as well as side interests in vexillology, sponges, and interpretation.

Date: Monday, March 12, 2018

Time: 10:00am – 11:15am (Pacific Time)/ 1:00pm – 2:15pm (Eastern)
